How does Hertfordshire rank across the different deprivation indices?
The table and chart below show details on how Hertfordshire ranks in each of the domains. For 2019, ranks are out of the 151 upper tier local authorities whereas for 2015 there were 152 authorities. The authority ranked 1 is the most deprived.

The pie chart shows the proportion of LSOAs within Hertfordshire (a total of 690) that lie within each decile. Decile 1 represents the most deprived 10% of LSOAs in England while decile 10 shows the least deprived 10% of areas.
